November 22, 2017(May 1, 2013) – Concord, NC – The Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited to announce that Selah Havard has joined their staff as Sales Manager. Formerly the Director of Sales at the Natchez Convention and Visitors Bureau in Natchez, Mississippi, Selah brings over four and half years of experience in the travel and tourism industry to the CCCVB.
“We are thrilled to welcome someone as accomplished as Selah to our team,” said Donna Carpenter, President/Chief Executive Officer of the Cabarrus County CVB. “Combined with her past success, Selah’s energy and passion for tourism make her an excellent representative for this destination.”
Havard is a graduate of Mississippi State University. She has completed DMAI’s Sales Academy I & II courses as well as the Southeast Tourism Society’s Marketing College program to become a certified Travel Marketing Professional. In 2012, she was a recipient of Southeast Tourism’s 40 under 40 For the Future.
As Sales Manager at the Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Havard will work closely with area partners to promote and sell Cabarrus County as a destination for corporate and association meetings and events.
