WHO
The United States Pickleball Association (USAPA) will host players from across the Carolinas for the North Carolina Holiday Smash Pickleball Tournament. This “Round Robin” tournament is open for public spectators. This event and the USAPA Atlantic Southeast Regional tournament in March 2015 come to Concord as a result of efforts by the Cabarrus County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

WHAT
Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. Combining elements of tennis, badminton and Ping-Pong, Pickleball is easy to learn with simple rules but can develop into a fast-paced competitive game for advanced players. The USAPA currently estimates there are now over 100,000 active Pickleball players making the sport one of the fastest growing in America. For more information, visit www.usapa.org.
